Your Docnote self-service guide.
How does patient or office cancel an Annual Plan?

Once a patient has enrolled in the Docnote Annual Plan, they are committed to a one-year subscription for the term, whether billed monthly or annually. If a patient leaves the practice or passes away, it is the office's responsibility to notify Docnote and request the cancellation of the subscription. Additionally, the office should handle any applicable refunds as necessary. When a patient passes away, prompt notification to Docnote ensures the subscription is appropriately cancelled.

It is also the office's responsibility to uncheck any patients manually added to the Annual Plans since Docnote does not automatically detect when one family member cancels to remove others from the associated plan.

Cancelling a patient’s Annual Plan does not revoke their access to Docnote. To remove access, navigate to the "Patient" tab, search for the patient, and click on the three dots to proceed with the appropriate action.
