Completing a Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) Request
A WSIB request provides benefits, medical coverage, and support to help patients get back to work after a work-related injury/illness.

To complete a Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) Request:

 

  1. Select Requests on the left-hand side of the dashboard. Then select Create Requests.

  1. Select WSIB option

 

  1. You can select patients that have an account from the dropdown. If they do not have an account you have to manually enter the patient's information.

 

 

  1. Enter the recipient's information. If WSIB is not already in your Contacts, you can manually input the details. You also have the option to add any relevant notes to your request.

 

  1. Add your file Attachments here.

 

 

  1. Assign the name of the form in Service Details this auto-populates the cost. Select the billed information this can be the patient or 3rd party. Enter any discounts or additional fees and assign the request.

 



  1. WSIB will receive the request by email or fax. Once you receive payment, you update the status to In Progress



  1. Select Create Invoice. Since this request goes directly to WSIB, there’s no need to enter contact information. The system will auto-populate as long as WSIB is in your Contacts list. 

 

  1. Select all files you are going to send to the 3rd party. Once selected, click Create Final

 



  1. Once you’ve created your final document, a pop up will appear. Here you can change the name of your file document and adjust the documents in the order you want them to appear by clicking on the 3-lines and dragging to the top or bottom of the list. Select Save once you are done.

 



  1. The status of your request is now In Progress. To send your final document to the 3rd party, click Mark As Submitted

 



  1. Select your final document to send to a 3rd party. Once you’ve selected your Final Document, click Send to 3rd Party. The status of your request is now Pending Payment

 

By clicking the 3 dots, you also have the option to View Document, Download Document, or Resend to 3rd Party.
