How to set up your office and finish the Onboarding Task List.
To launch your office’s Docnote, you’ll need to complete the Office Onboarding Task List. Let’s start with completing your profile information.
Complete Profile Information
- The office Primary Care Provider (PCP) or Medical Office Assistant (MOA) will receive an invitation to Docnote to welcome you to Docnote.
- Once the login information is completed you will be asked to complete the office information. You will do this by selecting Office Info on the left-hand side of the dashboard.
- Fill in the Office Profile including office hours and hit Save on the top of the page once all required information is entered.
Billing Information
- Select the Billing Info tab and fill in office and banking information. Once all the information is entered, hit the Publish button. This will activate the office allowing patients and staff to see your office on the Docnote office.

Article summary: Agree to Docnote’s legal terms to stay protected.
Terms and Conditions set out the terms that apply to the relationship, and the conditions that must be met by both parties, such as what the user must not do when using the site or service, and what rights the business maintains.
- Once billing information is completed you will click on the Legal tab to agree to the terms and conditions. This must be completed by the Primary Care Provider (PCP) or a person with signing authority for the PCP.
*Please note that if the PCP or person with signing authority is unavailable you can continue to set up your team.
Publish Office
Once your office is published online, it becomes accessible and visible to patients.
- If you have not done so already you must add the Primary Care Provider to publish the office. You do so by following the instructions located in Adding Team Member or Primary Care Provider to an Office Section.
- Once the Primary Care Provider is assigned and the Office Onboarding Task List is completed you can publish the office selecting Publish on the office profile.
