How do I download rostered patients form PSSuites to a .csv file?
Here’s how to download a rostered patient list with their additional information from PS Suite and export it as a CSV file:
  1. Access the Query Builder:

Log in to PS Suite.

Go to Tools  then Query Builder.

  1. Create a New Query:

Click New Query.

Set the criteria to filter Rostered Patients:

Add a filter such as "Rostering Status" or "Billing Number" if applicable.

Add fields to include in your export: First Name, Surname, Health Number,  Date of Birth (correct formatting is dd-mm-yyyy) and E-Mail Address

  1. Run the Query:

Click “Run” to generate a list of matching patients.

Review the results to confirm they match your intended roster.

  1. Export the Data:

Once the list is populated, select Export.

Choose CSV File as the export format.

Name your file and save it to your desired location.

  1. Verify the CSV File:

Open the file using a spreadsheet application (e.g., Excel).

Confirm that all fields (First Name, Last Name, DOB, Email) are populated correctly.

Check the format for DOB (e.g., dd-mm-yyyy) and ensure there are no missing data.

  1. Review and Adjust:

Double-check for any inactive or deceased patients.

Edit the file as needed before further use.

It’s highly recommended that the office thoroughly audits the file before uploading to ensure all active patients are included and the data adheres to the formatting rules.

If your office is not familiar with setting up queries, refer to the PS Suite user guide or seek assistance from TELUS Health's support team for a walkthrough of the Query Builder functionality. For additional tips, you may consult the PS Suite resources
