Manually Adding Patients to an Annual Plan in Docnote
Manual Annual Plan enrollment applies to family or couple plan shares, financial hardship exemptions, or courtesy additions (such as friends or special cases).
  1. When a patient subscribes to an Annual Plan under a Couple, Senior Couple, or Family plan, they are required to enter the name(s) and date(s) of birth for their spouse and/or family members in Docnote. This information can be viewed at any time by opening the patient’s profile in Docnote.

  1. In the patient’s profile, you can view their Annual Plan details as well as any additional family members that need to be added.Patients under the age of 18 are unable to have their own Docnote account; therefore, their information is not required.

  1. To check for an existing account, navigate to the Patients tab and search for the family member's name. Ensure the list is filtered by 'Active Docnote Users' to see registered patients. Once you find the correct profile, click the three dots icon and select 'Edit Profile.'

  1. Once inside the profile, check the 'Included in family or couple plan' box and enter the plan's expiry date.

  1. Now in the Patients Docnote account they will see that they have been manually added to an Annual Plan.
