What roles and permissions can I use?
Role and permission management allows system administrators to control which Docnote functionality their office users can perform. In this article, we'll guide you through what roles and permissions are available, and the process of editing roles and permissions.
To edit roles and permissions, go to your Users or Team. From there, add or edit a user.
Roles
- Office Superuser - Having access to all information, including controlling what other users can access.
- Accounting - The user will have access to view reports and view or edit finance ONLY.
- User - can log into Docnote and view requests.
Please note that Roles can be edited by changing the permissions.
Permissions
- Edit Office - permit staff to edit Office Info information
- Edit Users - permit staff to manage Team information
- Edits Services - permit staff to edit/change/delete Services
- Sign Forms - permission should only be given to Primary Care Physician
- View Reports - permit staff to access Financial Reports
- View/Edit Finance - permit staff to view/edit financial reports
- Edit Requests - permit staff to edit requests
- Legal - permission should only be given to Primary Care Physicians and Signing Authority.
