Creating an Annual Plan for Your Office
Please note that once you activate your plan, the plan not be deactivated and will be visible to the patient.

Offering an Annual Plan through Docnote is optional, but we believe it's the most effective way to boost your office's revenue while providing patients with a convenient payment option for their uninsured services. When initiating or renewing an Annual Plan in Docnote, you'll need to determine your patients' monthly and yearly rates, along with any discounts you plan to offer for uninsured services. Docnote allows patients to choose between monthly or yearly payment plans for greater affordability. Options are available for individuals, couples, families, seniors, and senior couples.

 

  1. To begin creating your plan, select Plans on the left side of the toolbar at the very bottom. This will bring you to the Annual Plan section where you will select Activate Annual Plan in the top right-hand corner of the screen. 

 

 

  1. Here, you can set your monthly and yearly rates for the annual plan. Monthly rates increase in $1 increments, and yearly rates increase in $10 increments, allowing you to customize pricing for patients and offer a highly accommodating plan for each group. Select Next to continue.

  1.  You will then be asked to apply your discounts to services that are to be included in your Annual Plan. Be sure to click the check box to include it in the Annual Plan.  

 

 

  1. Services entered into Docnote and billed to the patient will appear as eligible for the Annual Plan. You must enable the service and apply the appropriate discount to make them visible on the patient's account.

 

 

  1. Next, you can add a description of your annual plan with a maximum of 200 characters. 

 

 

  1. Confirm your Annual Plan Details and hit ”Save” to activate your plan. To make any changes to your plan, hit "Previous.”
